Warehousing & Bondstore

Introducing our state-of-the-art facility, an amazingly renovated and innovated warehouse spanning an impressive 5500 square meters. Within this expansive space, we’ve thoughtfully designated 3500 pallet locations to cater to your storage needs. Our latest enhancement is the inclusion of an 800 square meter bonded store, fully certified for both SOS and OS facilities.

This addition presents our valued customers with a versatile opportunity for cargo storage. You can choose to utilize our bonded store for dutiable goods, allowing you to defer the payment of Customs Duty and Customs VAT for specific consignments or even for your entire cargo, should you wish to keep it within South Africa. Alternatively, if your cargo is destined for transit to another country, our bonded facility enables you to conveniently pay Customs charges at that final destination country. This flexibility and certification enhance our commitment to providing you with comprehensive and tailored solutions for your cargo storage and logistics requirements.

Types of Customs Storage Warehouses

Storage Warehouse

Licensed under Section 19 of the Customs and Excise Act, 1964, these facilities store dutiable imported goods, including stockists. The goods are typically intended for home use or processing.

Storage Warehouse (Customs Controlled Area (CCA) Enterprise)

These are licensed Customs storage warehouses within a designated area in a Special Economic Zone, approved by the Minister of Trade and Industry and Customs.

Special Storage Warehouse

These facilities are licensed for the storage of:

  • Dutiable imported goods, including second-hand motor vehicles for export
  • Duty-free goods for export under Section 21(3) of the Act, including consolidation and deconsolidation
  • Imported goods for inbound or outbound duty and tax-free shops

Is a Police Clearance Certificate Required for Licensing an SOS Warehouse for Second-Hand Vehicles and When Should This Be Submitted?

The police clearance certificate should accompany the application if available; if not, it must be produced at the time of importation and entry to the approved warehouse.
